Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), working with the ACT Alliance, invites interested companies to tender for consultancy services to carry out a feasibility study for introducing its Waste 4 Value (W4V) model in Somalia, covering Garowe and Mogadishu. W4V turns waste into economic, social and environmental value through market-based, locally owned circular economy solutions.

The study will assess current waste management systems, map circular economy and value chain actors, assess markets and value chains for three priority waste streams, assess technical, economic, environmental, social and institutional feasibility, rank potential pilot locations and partnerships, and recommend an adapted, costed W4V model with a Phase 1 pilot design and roadmap. The assignment is expected to take 12 weeks.
