Windle International Somalia (WISOM) invites expressions of interest from financial institutions and from SACCOs and formal business associations to partner on its Empowering Women through Investment and Inclusion Networks in Somalia (e-WINS) project, which supports women-led small businesses.
Financial institutions would facilitate access to financial products such as savings accounts, mobile wallets, micro loans and grant disbursement for women entrepreneurs and saving groups. Business associations would run membership drives linking beneficiaries to business networks, mentoring, market information and advocacy platforms. Partners would also help integrate practical digital literacy training into programme activities. The target locations are Mogadishu and Kismayo.
