Trócaire invites qualified and experienced suppliers to submit bids for the supply and delivery of food commodities for its DAF School Feeding Program to Gawido, Khalid and Malkariye Primary Schools in Beled Xawa (Belet Hawa) town, Gedo region, Somalia, as per the distribution plan in the tender document.
Items (PR#1739): rice, 25 kg per sack (240 sacks); beans, 90 kg per sack (90 sacks); cooking oil, 3 litres per jerrican (304 jerricans); porridge (mixture of sorghum and maize blending), 50 kg per sack (210 sacks). Commodities must be fit for human consumption, properly packed and labelled with expiry dates.

• Eligibility: valid business registration certificate and trading licence in Somalia (Gedo); valid and current tax compliance certificate issued locally (Gedo); at least three years’ experience in the supply of food commodities, preferably to INGOs/NGOs; references from at least two clients over the past three years; capacity to deliver to the three schools in Beled Xawa as per the distribution plan; acceptance of Trócaire’s General Terms & Conditions of Procurement and Supplier Code of Conduct
• Financial offer: in US dollars, signed and stamped, inclusive of transport, loading, offloading and delivery to each school, valid for at least 90 days
